Preface

This is a beautiful, heart-warming tale of love and betrayal. They will probably want to make it into a movie. I hope you get as much happiness out of reading it as did writing it.

PURRRFECT

Once upon a time there was a little girl and no one loved her except her cat. When she felt bad she used to wrap herself up in her security blanket with her cat. Then she felt safe and warm.

One day her security blanket wasn't there anymore but she found a whole family of cats to be her friend.

Instead of feeling bad her heart filled up with light that shone all over the world because she wasn't covered over by her security blanket anymore.

But she still wanted to find her security blanket to know that it was safe and sound, because she really did love that security blanket even though she didn't need it anymore because she had a whole family of cats who loved her. And a fish.

This is a true story. Only the names have been changed to protect the innocent.

Maybe the Fish? But he might get too big for his bowl. I fear he will get too famous and follow in the footsteps of the security blanket. But he assures me he is not that kind of a fish and that he holds loyalty as his highest virtue. David the funny, famous yet loyal fish. He will be widely praised for his good nature but not led astray like superficial celebrities.

Will she keep the blanket all covered in the dust it collected through years of heartbreak?

Preview: The blanket returns covered all over in mud, it had been out on many adventures of its own. The little girl orders it to get in the bath and wash off all the grime. After all, the memories attached to her imaginary friend were only a figment of her imagination anyway and now she had a real true family of Cats. May be when the blanket has dried in the sun she will use it to line the cats basket and the whole family will live happily ever after.
