Part II The Fire Engine

Part II of the dramatic new series entitled PURRRFECT

Back in reality the little girl was exhausted from all the excitement and humour that her story had caused. She needed her cat to come and take care of her. Her fish was too self-centred. Plus she hadn't gotten enough sleep as she had been woken up too early by the garbage truck who seemed to be having some difficultly in removing the rubbish.

 

The blanket asked for some space so the little girl gave it some space.

The little girl had heard from the security blanket. She was able to tell it about the events that had led up to the moment, but at the time they had no idea of the sensation that its disappearance was going to cause. The sad thing about the security blanket was that it kept itself so covered up that people couldn't see its true nature. They thought it was just a big blanket. But the truth that the little girl knew was that if you got under the blanket you could feel its warmth. Without it she felt left out in the cold.

Luckily it was a very hot day so she decided to take the cat to the movies to sit in thier air-conditioning. They went to see a movie starring their favorite actors, Julia Roberts and Ewan McGregor not realizing that it also had Meryl Streep in it who was playing insanity . It was a movie about family betrayal at the hands of an insane and crewel mother. They cried the whole way through but it was good to see a larger family than life.

After the movie the fire-truck got called out on an emergency but the cat was too busy crying to be famous, which left only the fish to do the driving. When it arrived back at the fire-station it had filled the fire-truck with security blankets to cover the little girl over with. The little girl tossed blanket after blanket aside searching for her very own security blanket but it wasn't to be found amongst all those the fish had collected. Without the cover of the blanket the little girl's heart grew brighter and brighter till she started to feel like it was going to explode with brightness. She wasn't sure if she could cope with this sudden burst of brightness without the security of her blanket.

Her blanket sent her a message telling her to faith in herself. But that was the problem, the little girl had so much faith she felt blinded. Luckily she had an appointment in a couple of weeks to get her eyes fixed. Until then she would just have to keep walking around in a kind of blur.
